We combine research, strategy, leadership, education, communication, and experience design to help clients understand difficult challenges and move ideas into meaningful action.
OUR HISTORY
Before Maverick Axiom became a company, it was a way of seeing the world, one shaped in part by my parents (Adrienne and Kenneth-Roy) through the example they set, and by the questions their lives have taught me to ask.
Maverick Axiom builds on a family tradition of professional service that began in the 1990s with Trad Com (Traduction commerciale). Founded by my parents, the family business provided commercial translation and consulting.
Inspired by that legacy, our work has expanded; but our purpose remains unchanged: helping organizations navigate complexity with clarity, integrity, and practical solutions.

I founded Maverick Axiom because I have never been interested in accepting the obvious and popular answer simply because it is familiar.
My work moves between research and practice, strategy and experience to create value and possibilities.
What I bring
When you work with me, you draw on more than 30 years of experience across education, tourism, journalism, communications, human resources, and senior management. I bring the curiosity and rigour of a researcher, the practical know-how of an experienced practitioner, and the broader perspective of a volunteer and lifelong traveller.

Our work is shaped by years of teaching, facilitating, designing, leading, and translating ambitious thinking into something people can actually use.
Hands-on experience is something we have lived, not only read about. We turn ‘no’ into ‘watch me’.

We bring curiosity about people, cultures, places, and the different ways communities make meaning.
Our approach helps recognize possibilities easily missed when viewing challenges from one perspective or ‘but it has always been done this way’ arguments.
